Rocking and rolling was the pulsating party to present The Runway Project by Pizza Express, located at North Skyzone at High Street Phoenix. Hosts Ramit Mittal and Deepinder Batth (popularly known as Joey) of Gourmet Investments Ltd were there to meet and greet the guests at this fashion-centric venue.
It was also a celebration of veteran designer Hemant Trevedi who was there with his peers and proteges. Going down memory lane were Lara Dutta, Malaika Arora, Diana Hayden, Dia Mirza, Anna Bredemeyer, Nayonika Chatterjee, Prasad Bidappa, Anita Dongre, Achla Sachdev and Reshma Bombaywala who spoke fondly of their association and friendship with Hemant.
It was time for Moet & Chandon, Black Label and other spirits along with hors d’oeuvres. You learnt that celebrity chef Vicky Ratanani was roped in the project as a consultant. DJ Madoc and live musicians pepped up the proceedings.
Guests included Atul Ruia, Pooja Bedi, Wendell Rodricks, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Nachiket Barve, Amy Billimoria and Upen Patel. And at the stroke of midnight it was time to cut the cake, pop the champagne and wish Hemant Trevedi a very happy birthday.
