Mumbai’s electronic music lovers witnessed a jumping Berlin party as edgy menswear brand Kurtees collaborated with international artist Akshita Gandhi to put together the Kater Blau at Corona Garden in Bandra.
Steven Jhangiani, founder and designer of Kurtees, feels Kater Blau is the perfect platform to enhance the one-of-its-kind collaboration with Akshita Gandhi. The electronic music by David Dorad, Pauli Pocket and Kaleekarma mixed very well with the look of the brand and the artist’s distinctive aesthetic. Guests were introduced to a groovy music scene that was accentuated with the bold statement of the limited-edition Kurtees x Artist Akshita Gandhi collection.
On view was a unique life-sized installation, resonating with the idea of freedom and permeating the aroma of eccentricity in the air. It urged viewers to grow wings and fly away from dystopia realities.
And guests lived it up with Heineken beer and J&B whisky among other spirits.
