There was a crackle in the air at Tote on the Turf as New Era, the largest headwear licensing company in the world, announced its team-up with Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli to present his signature headwear collection.
Designed and conceptualized by Kohli, the headwear, branded with the One8 and V logos, is simple and stylish. This lifestyle-led headwear line embodies Kohli’s personal aesthetic with the use of understated colours and the inclusion of his logos.
You heard that since 1920, New Era has been handcrafting the finest headwear in the world. Today, with apparel and accessories lines, the brand is a market leader rooted in sports and an influencer of street and lifestyle culture around the globe.
Bunty Sajdeh, CEO, Cornerstone Sport, who was instrumental in putting this terrific team together, was present. Also present was West Indies cricket star Dwayne Bravo who sang his way into your heart, accompanied by dancers.
And, yes, the evening included a fashion show, directed by Alison Kanuga, highlighting the chic and slick headwear.
