Yuvraj Singh, Shantanu & Nikhil and cricket stars at the YouWeCan show at Trident

A heady mix of sporting stars and Bollywood biggies stirred your senses as cricket icon Yuvraj Singh launched his premium fashion label YWC at the Regal Room of the Trident.
After pre-show luxury spirits at the bar complemented by tasty hors d’oeuvres, it was showtime with Yuvraj Singh on the ramp, followed by India’s top models and also cricket stars like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Virendra Sehwag and Rohit Sharma.
On view was an exclusive blend of futuristic designs, chic fabrics and attitude amalgamated in one perfect collection. The high-quality home-grown premium fashion label incorporated urban silhouettes that exuded a sporty style which is Yuvraj’s signature style statement.
Launched were two distinct product lines: Gold Line and Core Line. The Gold Line featured a meticulously designed and curated range by famed designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil. The Core Line conceptualized around the lifestyle of an active go-getter seamlessly integrated everyday comfort and an athletic lifestyle with trendy fashion.
The core of the brand is rooted in Yuvraj’s personal journey with YouWeCan, the NGO he set up specifically for cancer survivors and patients. What’s nice to note is that royalties from the sale of every product will contribute to the NGO with a long-term objective to make it self-sustaining to serve its cause.
And, yes, Amitabh Bachchan, no less, was there to support Yuvraj Singh and his cause, along with Kajol and Deepika Padukone among others.
