The Vogue Wedding Show Groom’s Studio 2016 made its debut at Shantanu & Nikhil’s flagship store for men at Kala Ghoda. Hosted by Nikhil Mehra and Vogue India’s fashion director Anaita Shroff Adajania, the event exhibited the very best in men’s couture.
This was a prelude to the Vogue Wedding Show 2016, a three-day opulent wedding exhibition showcasing the latest and most exclusive wedding services and over 50 coveted brands from the bridal world. Held in partnership with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, the fourth instalment of the bridal extravaganza is poised to be grander and bigger this season.
From August 5 to 7, the Taj Palace, New Delhi will see some of the biggest names from the Indian wedding circuit come together to offer invitees the opportunity to make selections for their dream wedding.
The session at the studio was a preview of the wedding couture collection to be showcased at the wedding show. The audience was also taken through upcoming design trends for the wedding season along with some contemporary style tips for grooms.
What you witnessed was an eclectic mix of contemporary silhouettes in rich hues of midnight blue, grey and plum, through delicate ruffles, lace and sheerness and, of course, with the signature Shantanu & Nikhil drape.
And Chandon complemented by tasty hors d’oeuvres from Joss completed the picture.
