The sun set and the fun set in. It was the FBAI (Food Bloggers Association of India) soiree with Turning Point sangria at True Tramm Trunk in Juhu.
Lucky guests were in for a real treat with Turning Point sangria in two variants. There was Metropolitan, a delightful combination of red wine, sugar and fruit flavours of orange and cranberry, very refreshing indeed. There was Nashik Mule, a perfect blend of white wine, sugar and fruit flavours of orange and ginger ale, also very refreshing indeed.
Turning Point owner and founder Ashwin Deo enlightened the packed house on the sangria variants. You could drink Metropolitan chilled, directly from the bottle, or you could pour it in a glass, add some chopped apples and oranges and top it with ice. You could drink Nashik Mule chilled, directly from the bottle, or you could pour it in a glass, add some chopped apples, oranges and curry leaves and top it with ice.
Starters and bar bites did the rounds along with the refreshing sangria at True Tramm Trunk and the fun quotient was further upped with a food-and-beverage quiz to the teams. And everyone was a winner as they went home with goodies bags – filled with sangria, of course!
