Inspired by the romantic rose which is part of every bride’s wardrobe, Dimple Raghani unveiled her ‘Rosette’ collection at IBFW. Shades of English rose, champagne, golden peach, lavender and a dash of powder blue were ideal for the regal creations on the runway. Sensuous capes, luxurious palazzos, draped ensembles as well as lehengas and ornate blouses glittered under the ramp lights.
Maintaining the theme in embellishments, she splashed the garments with a variety of rose and vine motifs, enhanced with kasab, zardozi, sequins, kardana, resham and shimmering rhinestones.
Panelled net skirts were worn with pants and poncho, draped dupattas were part of the lehenga and choli trio, while panelled palazzos, brocade tops and chiffon long-sleeve covers gave a festive look to the collection.
And making a glam entry on the catwalk was Evelyn Sharma in a champagne-hued layered lehenga encrusted with 3D beaded floral embroidery and teamed with a long-sleeved net choli and dupatta.
