Eaters turned drinkers as the bar opened at China House. In full flow were Stolichnaya vodka cocktails and Two Oceans wines. Yes, there was also tasty appetizers. It was the launch of celebrity chef Rakhee Vaswani’s debut cookbook ‘Picky Eaters’ that was unveiled by yummy mummy Malaika Arora Khan.
It was a fun, interactive discussion with Malaika, Rakhee, foodie Kunal Vijayakar, master chef Ranveer Brar and Radhika Mukherjee, owner of The Big Red Bus. Also present were Saransh Goila, Vicky Ratnani, Kshama Prabhu, Tanai Shirali, Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, Mansi Joshi Roy, Gauri Tejwani and Shaheen Abbas.
The talk was that all the recipes in the book are the ones made at home by Rakhee for her children and that it is possible to make healthy food at home which is restaurant-like in taste and appearance. The talk was also on how Rakhee makes teaching and learning a very pleasurable experience at Palate Culinary Studio.
