You can say three cheers to Arola. Yes, the two Michelin Star Chef Sergi Arola’s signature Spanish fine-dining restaurant at the JW Marriott commemorates its third anniversary this year.
Apart from its novel gastronomic offerings, Arola is also Mumbai’s largest gin bar with the most extensive collection of gins from across the globe. As part of the anniversary celebrations, Chef Sergi Arola, on a brief visit to the city, has launched an innovative and exciting new cocktail menu titled Arola Twisters which is complemented by a new food menu as well comprising tapas and mains.
Pavithran Nambiar, GM, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, says, “Arola has earned the iconic status of being one of the best fine-dining restaurants in the city and we wanted to celebrate its third anniversary by bringing the gin bar to the forefront. The new cocktail menu is a brilliant spin on traditional concoctions. The drinks will be complemented by delicious Spanish cuisine with great music.”
The cocktail menu is influenced by unique flavours and innovative techniques, wherein each cocktail has a story to tell. The concoctions are prepared using expert insights and inventive techniques such as infusing the flavours of rosemary in vodka, infusing gin with jasmine tea and adding an Indian twist to the creations. Some of the heady concoctions to indulge in are Belleza del Amour, Arolagrini, Bliss, Sangria de Sergi, Riu Naranja, Elderflower and Lychee Collins.
Chef Manuel Oliviera has created a tantalizing menu of new dishes such as Arola Style Paella, Mero Chileno, Potage de Guisantes, Quinoa and Salmon Ahumado, Queso de Cabra and Esparragos Blancos.
