Celebrated chef Sanjeev Kapoor and famed food writer Rashmi Uday Singh were there at China House to unveil Saransh Goila’s debut book ‘India on my Platter’ with a lively interactive session moderated by bestselling author Kiran Manral.
A combination of travel stories, recipes, food tales and Saransh Goila’s adventurous and fun experience around the country that changed his life and outlook as a chef, this book captures the amazing experience in 60 cities in 100 days across 25 states.
It is not just a chef’s but a boy’s spiritual journey … from a roadside truck stop to India’s biggest omelette centre to a kitchen in Kullu.
All of 28 years of age, Saransh Goila is an Indian chef, TV show host, author, food consultant and columnist. He set a record in the Limca Book of Records 2014 for the ‘longest road journey by a chef’ when he hosted India’s biggest food travelogue show ‘Roti Rasta aur India’ on the Food Food channel. He is also popular for his online food and travel show where he makes favourite Indian dishes healthier.
And at China House guests happily sipped Skyy vodka cocktails from the Aspri Spirits portfolio.
