Fine wine blended beautifully with the fabulous food at An Enchanting Escapade, definitely a night to remember. It was time for Grover Zampa Vineyard’s award-winning wines to be sipped and savoured along with a gastronomic treat from the chefs of ITC Grand Central.
After a sparkling start at Dublin bar with Soirée Brut 2011, it was time for guests to walk across to the splendid setting at K&K for a rich Indian repast paired with fine wines, of course. Kapil Grover, Chairman, Grover Zampa Vineyards with wife Jayshree and daughter Karishma along with Kuldeep Bhartee, GM, ITC Grand Central were there to warmly welcome the merry mix of guests at this wine-and-dine experience that they would cherish forever.
It was Amuse-Bouche with Gucci Anar Ke Kur-Kuri served with spicy curry flavoured mustard sauce, complemented by Art Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2014. What followed was a four-course meal. Course 1 in the non-vegetarian choice was Murgh Angaar and Tali Subz Machli with Vijay Amritraj Reserve Collection White 2013. Course 2: Murg Jumbari, Mahi Qaliya, Gosht Ki Nihari with La Réserve 2012. Course 3: Gosht Bohri Biryani with Chêne Grande Resérve 2012. Course 4: Shaan-e-Aam with Soirée Brut Rosé 2011. Of course, there was also a vegetarian option.
And as you can tell it was an enchanting escapade indeed.
